ty segall & white fence - “time”

i definitely had higher hopes for this record, but with that said, it’s still really good. two of the best songwriters going right now. if you are vaguely interested in either of them, it’s worth listening to. i am psyched to see them together on this stacked bill next week:

fun. - “some nights”

i first posted about this band almost 3 years ago… which is very strange to think about. their first record was one of my favorites of 2009, but i definitely wore it out about a year and a half ago, so i have been really looking forward to this LP. totally different vibes, but definitely a much stronger release than their first one.
